Weddings

Celebrate your special day

A wedding is one of life’s great moments, a time of solemn commitment, celebration and joy. For Christians, it is also an invitation to share life together in the love of Jesus Christ.

Marriage is a public and life-long covenant and it is declared and celebrated in the presence of God and before witnesses. We look forward to hearing from you if you would like to be married at St Andrew's Church. If you or your partner live in the parish, you can marry here whether or not you attend church. You may also be able to marry here if you have associations with the church through a qualifying connection.

To discuss your Wedding plans further, please call Lucy, our vicar on 01234 354234. or email using the link below being sure to leave a contact telephone number.

Anniversaries and Wedding Blessings

It is always a joy to celebrate significant wedding anniversaries with a service of Renewal of Vows. These can be small, intimate services or large gatherings of friends and family with hymns and readings. Do get in touch if you would like to give thanks for your marriage in this way.

For couples who have a civil wedding, we offer a service of 'Prayer and Dedication after a Civil Marriage' also known as a 'Wedding Blessing'. The words of the service acknowledge the commitment you have already made and ask for God’s blessing and guidance in your new life together.

To discuss an Anniversary or Blessing service, please use the contact details above.
